Student Success Statement

“Righteous community unity starts with ONE upright soul, whether it is a community of family members, students, neighbors, teammates, or business associates. Unity conquers worthy pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone.”
-Mr.Haymore

You can start the beginning of a united movement for great causes. An individual has so much power than can gain noteworthy attention. Attention that will lead others to follow the path of courageousness and what is great. When we work together we can get so much done. We can conquer what we never thought possible. We won’t have to break our backs but we shall share the responsibility and we will become part of something huge. All we need is one person to be brave enough to start the movement. I for one, know I can be that person.
Home Health Aide
Home health aides provide assistance and medical care routinely at the home of the patient. They change bandages, dress wounds, apply topical medications, groom, bathe, and dress, patients. They also monitor and report health changes. They  periodically check patients temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. They assist patients getting in and out of bed, wheelchairs, and baths. They assist in household chores and offer companionship.
Average Salary: $35,000
Education: There is no standardized educational requirement. In some states, not even a high school diploma or equivalent is required. Other states offer preparation classes at vocational school or community colleges. Skills are taught on the job. Each client has unique needs, so HHAs may have to train for a few hours or several days, depending on the complexity of the case. Some employers, such as government-certified home care agencies, provide training classes and require employees to pass a test before starting their first assignment. They do not hold licenses but many employers prefer them to be certified. The certification process requires passing an exam after 75 hours of training and skills testing.
Reflection: I would not like to be a health care aide because it is a lot of responsibility and is more than medicine but a commitment to companionship.

“Work as a team to achieve your dream.”
-Sarah Real

I believe that we as people believe that teamwork shows dependence and our inability to be self-sufficient. Some believe it lessens our value and worth. At times that’s what leads us to feel like failures when we accept a helping hand and others refuse to because their pride keeps them from doing so. The reality is that teamwork is an example of the beauty of humanity. We should accept a helping hand whenever we can and also lend a helping hand if possible. We need to help each other succeed and then we can hustle toward our goals with great strength.

“Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers, or you can grow weeds.”
-Anon

I think that what this means is that our mind is the brewing place for success and that what we put in there (whether positive or negative thoughts) will grow into actions that can lead to beneficial consequences or negative ones. It is our choice.

“Good thoughts bear good fruit. Bad thoughts bear good fruit.”
-James Allen

Our thoughts can be thought as seeds. They are the base of our actions. We think before we act and our actions are for the most part reliant on those fleeting thoughts beforehand. This could be a good thing and a bad thing. If we think positively we will act in such a manner beneficial to ourselves and society.  If we think negatively it might impact our actions greatly to a point that will hurt us and other who do not deserve it. That is why we should never think ill of others or have a bad attitude towards certain situations. If we have good thoughts we will plant seeds that will grow into delicious fruit.
