“Set your goals high and don’t stop till you get there.”
-Bo Jackson

I think that this means that the higher we set our goals that higher our mindset will work to achieve them. We need to have realistic but high expectations for ourselves because we need to feel that we’re worth it. Giving up is never an option when you’re on the path to success so persevere.

“You can’t put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the farther you get.”
-Michael Phelps
22 Olympic medals (18 Gold)

I think that this quote means that we shouldn't be afraid to dream big. The mentality we put into the start of our goals can determine the success we achieve and how we enjoy it. Things can go above and beyond what we want if we just consider the possibilities. Dreaming big should not be feared. It will elevate us to see how big the world is and how big our impact can be.

“Try a little hard to be a little better”
-Gordon B. Hinckley

I believe what this means that maybe big changes can be a lot of pressure but I believe that if we try to improve one step at a time we can build up to something great. Maybe we have made some mistakes but if we have the will to continue and let those setbacks roll off without defining who we are that our life will improve to something that we couldn’t imagine.

“If you want to achieve excellence, you can get there today. As of this second, quit doing less-than-excellent work.”
-Thomas J. Watson

I think that this means that to become a greater person and improve who we are we need to start as soon as possible. Procrastination doesn’t help us at all and the path to greatness begins with enthusiastic change. All we need to do is believe we can do it and we shall. All we need to is to take initiative and try your best. Doing nothing  but your best can take you very far.

“It’s not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes a difference.”
-Paul Bear Bryant

I think that we find it very easy to achieve the desire to win as we are human and search for some sort of ego boost and superiority over others. It’s just a thought that brings us to fantasize about what we want and that in itself is no struggle. The real struggle that will eventually make or break you is the willingness to prepare for it and how hard you will work to achieve what you want. That’s what decides your faith.

“Righteous community unity starts with ONE upright soul, whether it is a community of family members, students, neighbors, teammates, or business associates. Unity conquers worthy pursuits more quickly and with less effort than individual effort alone.”
-Mr.Haymore

You can start the beginning of a united movement for great causes. An individual has so much power than can gain noteworthy attention. Attention that will lead others to follow the path of courageousness and what is great. When we work together we can get so much done. We can conquer what we never thought possible. We won’t have to break our backs but we shall share the responsibility and we will become part of something huge. All we need is one person to be brave enough to start the movement. I for one, know I can be that person.

“Work as a team to achieve your dream.”
-Sarah Real

I believe that we as people believe that teamwork shows dependence and our inability to be self-sufficient. Some believe it lessens our value and worth. At times that’s what leads us to feel like failures when we accept a helping hand and others refuse to because their pride keeps them from doing so. The reality is that teamwork is an example of the beauty of humanity. We should accept a helping hand whenever we can and also lend a helping hand if possible. We need to help each other succeed and then we can hustle toward our goals with great strength.

“Good thoughts bear good fruit. Bad thoughts bear good fruit.”
-James Allen

Our thoughts can be thought as seeds. They are the base of our actions. We think before we act and our actions are for the most part reliant on those fleeting thoughts beforehand. This could be a good thing and a bad thing. If we think positively we will act in such a manner beneficial to ourselves and society.  If we think negatively it might impact our actions greatly to a point that will hurt us and other who do not deserve it. That is why we should never think ill of others or have a bad attitude towards certain situations. If we have good thoughts we will plant seeds that will grow into delicious fruit.

“Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all”
-Aristotle

Education is very important. Facts and calculations play a very important role in our life. But all that mathematics and good grammar do not make us educated. What makes us educated is those components PLUS the education of values and the building of our true character. I can be a math genius but if I have no morality I might as well be seen as an ignorant dunce. Our heart is just as important as our brain. Both should be well taken care of so we could truly see ourselves as intelligent people.

If I choose the right I will be happy because I know I’m doing what is correct and nothing bad can stem from it. Is hall be worry free. “It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.”
-Anon

I think that the ego and pride of the human spirit makes us underestimate the power of peer pressure. As strong as our will is we are almost always inclined to fit in and be well liked.  Constant need of approval from people who we consider superior fills us with hope that one day we can be at the same level and go promptly beyond them. We want to surpass their status in a social level and that’s why we sometimes associate ourselves with negative company. They will influence us in a non-productive way. I rather be alone than to surround myself with people who want to sway me to be involved in illegal activities. Sometimes we need time to ourselves to self-meditate about our choices.

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It’s impossible.”
-Ezra T. Benson

Our conscience is given to us as a gift to be able to distinguish right from wrong. We are not heartless nor ignorant towards our feelings. They are forever present even if we ignore them or try to avoid them. We reap the seed we plant. Cause and effect can be applied to this. If you do right then you feel right but if do wrong then you’ll feel wrong. There isn’t a loophole to our feelings. Things happen and we can’t control our emotions but we can control our actions.
