Industrial Hygienist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial hygienists deal with physical and chemical
hazards in compliance with state regulations, laws, rules, and codes. They
recognize, evaluate, and control. They assess work place for occupational health
hazards by observing work conditions, and assessing records. They give advice
and provide guidance on how to improve hazardous conditions and evaluate
surveys, research, and information about institutions.
Average Salary: $77,857
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or other physical or
life science field and three years industrial hygiene related experience
knowledge, skills and abilities are needed . Possession of a current State of
Arizona Type D driver's license is required upon employment
I think I would like to be one because it keeps people safe
and pays well.
