I think that this is trying to show that
whatever you want to accomplish in life you have to do yourself. There is no
shame in asking for help but in the end whatever you accomplish you should have
gotten by your own efforts to be able to feel proud of it. It would be much
easier if it were the latter but the sense of achievement is much greater when
you have to work hard for it yourself. If I want to become a really good
singer I cannot have someone sing for me. No. I have to make the effort to
practice and then I can have a sense of accomplishment and feel better about
who I am.
